Altcoins is a broader term for cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin as all other cryptocurrencies that were launched after Bitcoin are considered altcoins. Bitcoin being the first and oldest cryptocurrency means that it is regarded as a sort of progenitor to all other altcoin cryptocurrencies available today. There is the range of available AltCoins rather big, and is itself subdivded into other types of Coins like MemeCoins, StableCoins or AI Coins. These are technically also AltCoins but nevertheless have been growing so strong, that they brand their own sub-branches.
