JAXA

JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) is Japan's national space agency, established in 2003 through the merger of three separate organizations: NASDA, ISAS, and NAL. JAXA is responsible for Japan’s space and planetary research, satellite development, and international space collaborations. Its mission is to advance space exploration and utilize space for the benefit of humanity.

Fun fact: JAXA's Hayabusa2 mission, launched in 2014, successfully collected samples from the asteroid Ryugu and returned them to Earth in 2020, providing valuable insights into the early solar system!
